EuroStyleCab
has been in business since 1996, providing Atlanta homeowners with custom cabinets, vanities, bookcases, entertainment centers, and other woodworking products. General manager Samuel Oprea, one in a long line of Romanian carpenters, runs the company with his father and three brothers. When the family of ten immigrated to the United States in the 1990s, Samuel learned to balance his studies with working in the newly formed business. "My father started the company in a basement with a table saw and a chop saw," Samuel says. "We've since grown into a mid-size operation." As the company expanded, Samuel purchased precision machinery that ensures uniformity and minimizes labor costs. "We could do everything by hand, like in the past, but the cabinets wouldn't fit together nearly as well," he says. The company carries both workers' compensation and liability insurance; all work is guaranteed for one year. Since the beginning, EuroStyleCab has kept to its basic tenets: customer education and providing a quality product. "Our customers, and my reputation, are the only things that matter," he says. "If they're not happy with the final product, we'll fix it."
