"They
were supposed to move us into the house
at noon on Friday. As it turned out,
they didn't come until 8:00 at night,
and they didn't finish until 1:00 in
the morning. It wasn't until the next
day that we discovered the missing and
broken things. I spoke to the franchise
owner here—he was very rude. They didn't
reimburse me or anything. He just pretty
much blew us off." (This

came and measured everything, and I
told them exactly what I was going to
move. They underestimated the size of
the truck. Then they said they couldn't
move my bedroom suite because they needed
special tools to disassemble it. My
next-door neighbor had to come over
and disassemble it. Then, when they
got the stuff up here, they just left
it places. They wouldn't even hook up
the refrigerator—they left it sitting
in the middle of the kitchen. They were
extremely careless. They broke the legs
off of my jewelry chest, and they smashed
up a 1610 English sideboard—that is
a $13,000 piece of furniture. They didn't
offer to pay for anything. I have never
heard such vulgarities. At one point,
I said, 'Would you watch your language,
guys? I have kids here.' That lasted
about two seconds. I don't think they
had a big enough vocabulary to get by
without cuss words. It ended up being
$3,000 more than they estimated. Everything
that could go wrong with a mover, went
wrong. It really was terrible...just
overall a horrible experience with them." (This

were awful, awful, awful. They were
supposed to show up at 8:00 in the morning
with six guys, and they showed up at
about 2:00 with only four guys. Two
of the guys that were supposed to be
on the job got in a fight and got arrested
because they were trying to kill each
other. Then at 2:00 AM, two of the guys
that hadn't been arrested earlier got
into a fight in front of my house. They
didn't finish until 4:00 AM the next
morning. They broke stuff and did an
awful job, but by the end, I was so
tired that I didn't care what they did.
It was a terrible experience." (This

used [#3675], and it was terrible. Their
supervisor got sick, so the second in
charge was running the show, and people
were standing around doing nothing.
I had to tell them, 'There is a bunch
more stuff down in the basement.' They
would mosey down to the basement, and
get something, and mosey back up. Their
estimator said it would be about six
hours to do my move. It was nine hours,
and they never finished. Thank goodness
I have an SUV, and that I wasn't moving
to California. All day the next day
and all day Saturday, Sunday, and Monday,
I had to keep moving things out of the
house in my SUV because I was closing
on Tuesday. I would give them a D." (This
